Allen West: Can we investigate radical Islamic terror now?

Former Florida Rep. Allen West issued a scathing statement on his Facebook page Friday, in response to the ongoing manhunt for one of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings.

“Let me be very clear. The terrorist attack in Boston and evolving events indicate we have a domestic radical Islamic terror problem in America,” he wrote. “No more excuses. No more apologies. We are in a war of ideological wills and we shall prevail.”

He also recounted previous congressional attempts to hold hearings on radical Islamism.

“When Rep. Peter King attempted to have hearings on domestic terrorism, he was attacked for being racist,” Mr. West wrote.

He said: “We must no longer allow the disciples of political correctness and the acolytes of the Muslim Brotherhood (CAIR, ISNA, MPAC, MAS) to preach to us some misconceived definition of tolerance and subservience.”

CAIR stands for the Council on American-Islamic Relations. ISNA is the Islamic Society of North America. MPAC is the Muslim Public Affairs Council. And MAS is the Muslim American Society.

TCTA2 pushes back on the rhetoric coming from the Gang of 8, Janet Napolitano and President Obama.  The film defuses the racism argument and kills the myth that Americans won’t work the hard jobs.  Most importantly, it shows just how open the borders really are, and sadly, it gives a first hand look at how America is a ticking time bomb when it comes to another 9/11.

…Dzhokhar and TamerlanTsarnaev were from mostly Sunni, independence-minded and often-jihadist southern Russia. They had been in the U.S. for some period of time and Dzhokhar appears to have received a small scholarship from the City of Cambridge when he graduated from high school. His Facebook page indicates some trouble finding his place in the United States.

We’re going to learn more about them both, but what we know about the process of radicalization and the connection between unhappy people, true believers, and criminal terrorist enablers is the beginning of wisdom — if we choose to see it.

Update: FAU student to police: Allen West making me ‘feel in danger at school’

A student at Florida Atlantic University filed a complaint with the local police, alleging that former Florida Congressman Allen West made her “feel in danger at school” after he pleaded with students to stop bothering his wife when she’s on campus.

“As students, we deserve to feel safe exercising our First Amendment rights to peacefully assemble and express our grievances with the University,” Stephanie Rosendorf of the Florida College Democrats wrote in the complaint obtained by The Raw Story. “These days you never know if a threat on social media is to be taken lightly, and in this case it certainly should not be. Allen West is making me feel in danger at school.”…
