Democratic Sen. Tom Carper says there is no point in reading actual “incomprehensible” language of health care bill

Here is video of Democrat Sen. Tom Carper [DE.] calmly explaining that he will not read the actual Health Care Bill because it is too “arcane,” and “among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life.” Carper said the legislative language is virtually “beyond comprehension.”

Carper did not seem to think there was anything at all odd about voting on a bill, or even writing a bill, that is “incomprehensible.”

He did say a “plain English” summary of the bill should be made available to people, but saw no use for putting the actual bill online for people to read.
