Twenty five years ago Palestinian terrorists, led by Abu Abbas, boarded the cruise ship Achille Lauro and held the passengers hostage for 44 hours. Vacationing New Yorker Leon Klinghoffer was confined to a wheelchair. Despite being handicapped by a series of strokes, he was shot in the head and his body dumped overboard.
Terrorist attacks against Americans did not begin on 9/11/2001.
