You’d think at a time of such volatility in the Middle East that Obama would be willing to meet with world leaders while they are in the country, especially those from the Middle East. My guess is that since he turned down a request to meet with Netanyahu, he’s shunning them all so that he can say he didn’t have time to meet with any leaders to lessen the impact of his refusal to meet with Netanyahu.

NY POST – World leaders will be holding tete-a-tetes this week as the annual United Nations General Assembly convenes — but not President Obama, who will instead be chatting it up with the ladies of “The View.”

Unlike his predecessors, Obama won’t be on hand for private meetings with diplomats and heads of state from 193 nations.

Obama will make a quick stop Tuesday at the UN General Assembly to deliver a speech, where he’s expected to strongly denounce anti-American attacks in the Middle East, including the murder of US ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.Yesterday the Rasmussen daily tracking poll had President Obama and Mitt Romney in a dead heat, with 46 percent each.

Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday this morning grilled Robert Gibbs on this very issue…
