Incompetent failure being considered for FBI’s top job?

Who is on President Obama’s shortlist to lead the FBI? Jamie Gorelick, who installed the wall of separation between the FBI and the CIA in regards to sharing information. Glenn had the story on radio.
“Guess who is going to be ‑‑ who they’re trying to appoint as the new head of the FBI? This will drive you nuts. This has got to be one of the biggest sticks in the ice to every single FBI agent in the country,” Glenn said.
“It’s Jamie Gorelick,” Pat explained.
“Most people are saying, why do I know Jamie Gorelick? That sounds familiar,” Glenn said.
“It sure does. You know her from the Clinton years and from the 9/11 commission hearings. She is the one who installed the wall of separation between the FBI and the CIA so that they couldn’t share information back and forth,” Pat explained.
“She was the one that after 9/11, she was really humiliated,” Glenn added.
Pat said that after 9/11 she was demanding answers during the 9/11 commission hearings, she was demanding answers and everyone was saying it was partly due to policies she helped put in place.
“She is the one that tied the hands of the FBI and the CIA and they put that wall up that people couldn’t talk to each other that helped the 9/11 hijacking take place,” Glenn said.
Surely, that mistake on her resume would make people question her qualifications for this job. But, as Glenn explained, that’s not the only job she’s failed at.
“Now she’s also serving as the Vice Chairman of the Federal National Mortgage Association known as Fannie Mae, which the government‑sponsored enterprise began bundling subprime loans into securitized financial instruments,” Glenn added.
“She’s now going to be the head of the FBI. God help us all,” Glenn said.
Update: At HillBuzz, Jamie Gorelick, who is tied to Fannie Mae and 9/11, is on Obama’s short list to head the FBI.
…Gorelick served as vice chairman of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) when the government-sponsored enterprise began bundling subprime loans into securitized financial instruments. Prior to that, she served as deputy attorney general in the Clinton Justice Department under then-Attorney General Janet Reno from 1994 to 1997.
But Gorelick is perhaps best known for her 1995 memo, written when she was deputy attorney general, that later became known as “Gorelick’s Wall,” a policy prescription limiting the flow of information between intelligence gatherers and criminal investigators that some believe helped allow the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center to go unchallenged…
