An Oregon University professor has controversially compared skepticism of global warming to racism.
Sociology and environmental studies professor Kari Norgaard wrote a paper criticising non-believers, suggesting that doubters need to be have a ‘sickness’.
The professor, who holds a B.S. in biology and a master’s and PhD in sociology, argued that ‘cultural resistance’ to accepting humans as being responsible for climate change ‘must be recognised and treated’ as an aberrant sociological behaviour.
Resolving skepticism about climate change alarmists, she added, is a challenge equitable to overcoming ‘racism or slavery in the U.S. South’…

Their media relations folks are bursting with pride that one of their faculty is faithfully recycling, in this case from Uncle Joe…

Imagine what such people as this sociologist feel licenced to do to us – for our own good, of course, as the Inquisition, Nazis and Bolsheviks insisted, too. Already some, like Professor Clive Hamilton, ponder the need for a ”suspension of the democratic processes”.

Medieval warming WAS global – new science contradicts IPCC
…A proper temperature record for Antarctica is particularly interesting, as it illuminates one of the main debates in global-warming/climate-change: namely, were the so-called Medieval Warm Period and Little Ice Age merely regional, or were they global events? The medieval warmup experienced by northern Europeans from say 900AD to 1250AD seems to have been at least as hot as anything seen in the industrial era. If it was worldwide in extent that would strongly suggest that global warming may just be something that happens from time to time, not something caused by miniscule concentrations of CO2 (the atmosphere is 0.04 per cent CO2 right now; this figure might climb to 0.07 per cent in the medium term)…
Update: Obama in 2007: Those who can afford it will have to pay more for energy
We know Obama has intentionally slowed down the granting oil permits on federal land and that he lies about the 4 billion in subsidies going to the oil companies as well as the amount of underground oil we have in America. We also know that the rise in gas prices has a lot to do with the price or crude oil which is affected by global demand and Middle East tensions. I’m not saying Obama has single-highhandedly raised the price of crude oil. However, I am suggesting that Obama does play a part in our high gas prices and could do a lot to cause the prices to come back down:
Markets are driven on a global basis by expectation. If the market heard the President of the United States say I’m serious about producing my vast energy resources, you will see an impact in the market.
So take all that into consideration when you watch the video below that is simply more proof that Obama has always intended to increase energy prices. And he said this BEFORE his infamous “Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket” 2008 remark …
