Senate bill on homegrown food equals homegrown tyranny

The Obama regime and Democrats in Congress want to prevent citizens from growing, sharing, trading, or selling homegrown food.  Senate bill S510 would make such activity illegal.  Such legislation amounts to homegrown tyranny, yet another example of how this government has declared war on the citizens.

Under the guise of ‘food safety’ the bill contains the following ominous provisions, as cited by The World’s Prophecy:

1. All U.S. food and U.S. farms are placed under the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense in the event of contamination or some vague. undefined ‘national emergency.’

2.  U.S. sovereignty over food and farms would end, placing them under the international oversight of the WTO.

3.  Under Maritime Law the government would be given the power to define any sale of food between individuals or the introduction of food into national commerce as ‘smuggling into the United States.’

4.  A global system of control over food would be imposed on the United States under the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization, and the World Trade Organization.

5.  The right of citizens to purchase, own, store, and clean seed would be removed and placed into the hands of large international corporations such as Monsanto.

6.  An animal traceability program would be implemented under international control, thus threatening small U.S. farmers and ranchers who raise animals.

7.  All local food production would be placed under the control of HACCP, which will in effect push small farmers out of business and give large corporations total control over the food supply.

8.  The American economy would be further dismantled by the deconstruction of the agriculture and food industry, taking this vital sector of the economy out of the hands of the United States and placing it in international hands.

9.  The bill gives government the right to mandate the use of antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, and slaughterhouse waste.

10.  ‘Food crimes’ would be a new category of criminal activity, increasing the power of the police state, and removing Constitutional protections of citizens who are thusly charged, placing them totally at the mercy of ‘large corporate tribunals’ which will be granted unlimited power to levy penalties–and outside the purview of U.S.  judicial review.

In summary, Dr. Shiv Chopra, a Canadian Health whistleblower, said the following about this proposed law:

“If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes.  It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God.”
