‘The Day the Earth was Soaked with Tears’

The names became a poem and the names a chant and the names became a prayer.

No Sheeples Here

The video embedded below is my small effort to bring attention to Project 2996, an effort shepherded by Dale Challener Roe. First established in 2006, Roe wanted to find a way to pay tribute to the 2,996 who perished on 9/11 at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in a lonely field near Shanksville, PA.

His vision was to enlist bloggers to write a tribute about one of the 2,996.

Won’t you please get involved? It costs nothing but a little of your time and you’ll be honoring the memory of those who were taken from us on the day the earth was soaked with tears.

Thank you in advance for your kindness.
