Through Demand Response technology and Real Time Pricing, the Smart Grid threatens to give the utility company, and the government, the ability to not only track your movements through your energy usage, but give them power over that usage as well.
But there are those that are fighting back against this encroachment of Big Government and Big Business into their private lives…. and losing.
According to an article on Stop Smart meters.org a couple in California removed the Smart Meter from their home, only to have the utility company, PG&E, turn off their power…
