TAMPA – Authorities are at a scene involving a fatal shooting at the entrance to MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa Fire-Rescue said Wednesday evening.
Rescue workers were summoned to help a shooting victim just outside the MacDill gate on S Dale Mabry Highway about 6:50 p.m. Tampa police and base security personnel are investigating, and no other details were immediately available.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Tampa Fire-Rescue.
