The federal government has given up on its roundup of Cliven Bundy’s cattle on public land in Nevada, ending a tense standoff between the family and hundreds of armed officials who surrounded the ranch.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) cited safety concerns in a statement released Saturday, deciding to call off the operation after only gathering 384 of the total 908 cattle they said were “trespassing.”
“Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of the public,” said BLM Director Neil Kornze…
…Bundy’s son Dave was arrested for taking pictures along a state highway and the BLM brought in rangers from out of state to deal with protesters in “First Amendment Areas” the agency had set up, restricting access for citizens to peacefully protest the removal. The agency had received harsh criticism from Gov. Brian Sandoval (R.), members of Congress, and the media for its handling of the operation.
During a heated confrontation on Wednesday between rangers, members of the Bundy family, and other protesters, Ammon Bundy, one of Cliven’s sons, was tasered. A 57-year-old cancer survivor was also pushed to the ground, drawing concern from lawmakers who said the BLM was using “brutal physical force.”…

…Today, after the BLM said it would be pulling out and leaving, Bundy wanted to know what would be happening with the cattle. Bundy said, well we’ll give them an hour to tell us, then we’ll go down to the pens and get the cattle.
This was the SPLC’s “interpretation” of the event:
Flanked by militia members equipped like soldiers, Bundy gave the BLM a one hour ultimatum to disarm its agents, dismantle BLM equipment and end what he has described as a tyrannical campaign of harassment against his family, which has raised cattle on about 600,000 acres of federal land dubbed The Gold Butte for generations.
“You report back to these people, we the people, in one hour,” Bundy ordered. “They [our demands] are not done and we’ll decide what we are going to do from this point on,” Bundy told about 1,000 supporters…
Ranchers And Protesters Block Highway, Seized Bundy Cattle RELEASED (video)
Earlier today we reported on the story that the BLM had backed off from their round-up of the Bundy family’s cattle. After that agreement was reached, however, the protest did not end. As reported by Fox News, ranchers, concerned citizens, and protesters joined together in a new demonstration demanding the release of the already seized cattle, which the Bureau had originally stated would be sold.
At this hour, the citizens outside the fences have won their second battle of the day, as video is just coming out of those cattle being released.
The protesters shut down I-15 and openly carried firearms and rushed the BLM gate. Eventually, however, BLM relented and agreed to release the cattle.
As we reported earlier, this story is not over yet…
The People vs. BLM: Liberty defeats govt. tyranny as feds release all cattle at Bundy Ranch
The BLM, now in a full retreat against the Citizens of the United States of America, has announced a stand down and has begun releasing the Bundy family’s cattle from the BLM’s “bovine concentration camps.”
This has just been confirmed by the Bundy family on their Facebook page. Also, here’s a breaking video showing the cattle being released.
A tense standoff had taken place for several hours, where armed citizens of the United States of America — many on horseback — drew a literal line in the sand and refused to back down until BLM released the cattle.
The photo below — one of the most iconic photos of recent American history — shows armed American citizens in a standoff with BLM thugs (in the white SUVs) who engaged in the felony theft of the Bundy family cattle and committed numerous felony assaults on American citizens…
There’s much more at the main site.
A man named Darin Bushman, Piute County (UT) Commissioner, has been documenting the stand-off on Facebook. Also on the page is included some information about the many other farmers and ranchers across the west and southwest who are facing the same threats as the Bundys to their land, property, and livelihood. Check out his page.
The news is being reported from one local Las Vegas station the way you’ve come to expect from the CBS News. Watch the video if you care to hear BLM’s “Alinsky” treatment of the Bundy family and their supporters.

From August 2013, only the Feds are allowed to harm or kill endangered species: BLM to kill hundreds of desert tortoises as its conservation center runs out of money
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management announced it will kill hundreds of threatened desert tortoises it’s been caring for at a Nevada conservation facility. The slaughter is being blamed on a lack of funds by the agency.
Real estate developers in southern Nevada who wanted to disrupt the habitat of threatened desert tortoises to build their little enclaves of air conditioning and irrigation in the arid suburbs of Las Vegas have been able to do so — for a fee. And while at the height of the real estate boom those fees went a long way toward providing refuge for displaced tortoises, the real estate bust has seen the program implode…
From March 2010: Leaked Memo Uncovers Obama Administration Land Grab
…A secret administration memo has surfaced revealing plans for the federal government to seize more than 10 million acres from Montana to New Mexico, halting job- creating activities like ranching, forestry, mining and energy development. Worse, this land grab would dry up tax revenue that’s essential for funding schools, firehouses and community centers.
President Obama could enact the plans in this memo with just the stroke of a pen, without any input from the communities affected by it…

Update 2: Mainstream Media LIES About Federal Standoff
Fox News blatantly lies about the federal standoff in Nevada by reporting that the BLM stood down and gave back the Bundy’s cattle because they were afraid for the safety of the public. This is pure propaganda, the BLM were threatening to shoot the protestors while hiding behind their vehicles.

Update 3: I have never heard a bigger one line crock of shit.
Fox news reported that the BLM released the cattle because they feared for the safety of the public. I have never heard a bigger one line crock of shit. If they feared for the pubic safety why was traffic on the interstate allowed to continue throughout the entire event?
This is an important aspect. If you believe there will be a bunch of rednecks shooting of guns wouldn’t you stop the traffic on the Interstate? I guess its okay with the BLM if innocent tourist catch one of their stray bullets.
The likely hood of a BLM guy shooting a tourist was 100 time greater than the Militia hitting a tourist because the militia had an elevated position on the bridge pointing down into the gully at the BLM, while the BLM would have been shooting up at the bridge and any bullets that missed the target would have passed straight into a passing vehicle.
I think that the BLM was clueless about this particular issue (or frankly didn’t care) because they were down in a ditch in the worst possible tactical position for a firefight and they were pissing their pants.
Before you say that managing the Interstate traffic was the Nevada Highway Patrols responsibility let me tell you that we called 911 and the Nevada Highway Patrol transferred our 911 call to the BLM telling us that the BLM was handing ALL issues related to the action being taken by the BLM and that included traffic on the Interstate. Nevada had abdicated ALL policing authority in this matter to the BLM, ALL of it…
