Last night, it was Democratic strategist Tamara Holder who couldn’t remember slain Border Patrol agent and Fast and Furious casualty Brian Terry’s name. She coldly called him “the guy” who “died a year ago.” (Video at The Right Scoop.)

During the House contempt proceeding yesterday, several Democrats needed to read his name from pieces of paper to remember.

And today, it was White House press secretary Jay Carney who stumbled and bumbled over basic details of Fast and Furious — including the Terry family name. Watch him call them “the family that you referred to” in response to ABC News reporter Jake Tapper’s question about the White House response to the Terry family statement on Holder’s stonewalling yesterday…
