Coming in May: Coalition of the Left will collapse JP Morgan, the U.S. stock market, and redistribute what’s left of America’s wealth, power

…So a bunch of us around the country think who would be a really good company to hate we decided that would be JP Morgan Chase  and so we are going to roll out over the next couple of months what would hopefully be an exciting campaign about JP Morgan Chase that is really about challenge the power of Wall Street.

And so what we are looking at  is the first week in May can we get enough people together starting now to really have an week of action in New York I don’t want to give any details because I don’t know if there are any police agents in the room.

The goal would be that we will roll out of New York the first week of May. We will connect three ideas:

  • that we are not broke there is plenty of money
  • they have the money  – we need to get it back
  • and that they are using Bloomberg and other people in government as the vehicle to try and  destroy us

And so we need to take on those folks at the same time and that we will start here we are going to look at a week of civil disobedience – direct action all over the city…

“Alert all of your friends!” Beck Responds to Chilling “Economic Terrorism” Audio

Jonathon M. Seidl
The Blaze

Earlier today we broke a story so sinister it sent Glenn Beck calling on his listeners to pass it along to everyone they know [emphasis CAJ]. A former SEIU official, Steven Lerner, is heard on tape laying out a plan for how to collapse the economy so that unions can rise like a phoenix. On radio today, Beck played the audio and explained the plan in full, as well as revealed he’s sent it to the Justice Department.

(Read our original report.)

“This is the clearest case of economic terrorism I think I have seen,” he said, adding, “When you hear this tape, you will recognize some of the things that we have been warning about. You will recognize what I believe the Pentagon was warning people about.

Beck was disturbed by the plan, he said he is having the audio delivered to JP Morgan Chase — the bank the plan hopes to target — and the Justice Department. Later in his show, he said JP Morgan has responded with a “no comment” at this time. It’s unclear if the Justice Department has received the audio.

“You must stand,” Beck later told his audience, after making it clear that he does not oppose individual union members but rather union leaders. “It is not an option to stand silent.”

Update: At The Other McCain, some new video and this:

Lerner was fired from SEIU in November by the union’s new president, Mary Kay Henry. Lerner’s penchant for “disruptive” tactics was displayed last spring, when he organized a mass protest at the Washington, D.C., home of Bank of America official Greg Baer, and Lerner told Nina Easton:

“Millions of people are losing their homes, and they have gone to the banks, which are turning a deaf ear. . . . People in powerful corporations seem to think they can insulate themselves from the damage they are doing.”

As Easton noted, Baer is a lifelong Democrat.

Update 2: On his programs this week Glenn Beck has reported that Lerner appears to still be employed by SEIU, though the union will not confirm this. Beck’s staff were put through to his voice mail at SEIU. So there is confusion about whether or not Lerner was fired, resigned, or is still employed.

CAJ note: On 24 October 2011 Glenn Beck announced to this GBTV audience that the video of Lerner, above, has been scrubbed from the internet. The video may be in the Fox News Channel’s archives because, Mr. Beck explained, all the work he did while working for the network is their property, and not his.
