A grassroots organization is conducting a forum in U.S. House Speaker John Boehner’s Ohio district Saturday. Its main order of business is to recruit candidates to mount a primary challenge to the GOP congressman. Coincidentally (or maybe not) Boehner just sealed the deal on a Florida condominium.
Boehner is but one Republican member of Congress the Tea Party Leadership Fund PAC is looking to unseat — but he’s definitely the “big kahuna.” Hopefuls expected to appear at the Easton, Ohio event include businessman Eric Gurr and educator-tea party activist J.D. One of the tea-party leaders in Congress believes the days of Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio, as speaker of the House of Representatives are numbered.
Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, told WND he predicts Boehner will no longer be speaker “by next January,” regardless of the outcome of the midterm election in November.
The Texan doesn’t think it will take a coup to remove Boehner, believing the tide is already moving in that direction, and saying, “I think people are ready for a change.”…
