Fifty-three House Republicans sent a letter Thursday to President Obama asking him to fire embattled “safe schools” czar Kevin Jennings, “and replace him with someone possessing the appropriate qualifications and ethical standards to serve in a presidential administration.”
The letter specifically cites Jennings’ recounting of an incident involving a teenage student. In his book, “One Teacher in Ten,” Jennings describes how the student confided a sexual relationship with an older man, how Jennings failed to report the incident, and instead asked if the teen had used a condom.
