It’s official: House/Senate will not vote on health care bill before August recess

Today, the news seems to be official. Neither the House of Representatives nor the full Senate will vote on a health care reform bill before the August recess. As I wrote yesterday, this does not mean that the health care reform debate should be avoided during the month of August. In fact, the debate should and will continue during the recess but it will be continued in town hall meetings and constituent meetings rather than in the halls of Congress…
