There are only a few days remaining before Congress begins their August recess. Concerned citizens must keep the pressure on our Representatives regarding important issues like government-run health care and Cap and Trade, which will come to a vote in the Senate in September.
These bills are important to all of us, and there are several back-room meetings and deals going on at this time for the floundering health care package. Your calls, faxes and emails to Senators and Congressmen are more important than ever. NOW is the time to make contact about the pending health care bill, H.R. 3200 while Speaker Pelosi is lining up support for passage in the House. Contact your Representatives to insist they READ and UNDERSTAND the health care bill BEFORE they vote on it! Tell them you’ll be waiting to talk with them when they return home for their recess!
