As former IMF boss Dominique Strauss-Kahn pleaded not guilty in court today, his alleged victim vowed to testify against him and ‘tell the world’ exactly what happened on the night she claims he raped her.

Putting on the bravado of a man without a care in the world, he confidently strode into and out of Manhattan Criminal Court, seemingly unperturbed by the jeers of dozens of protesting maids who shouted ‘shame on you’ at him.

Smiling, with his loyal wife by his side, he was a far cry as the broken, drawn man who appeared in a prison ‘suicide smock’ only a few weeks ago.

The disgraced former IMF leader launched the bid to clear his name today and, after speaking only once to enter a not guilty plea, he was ordered to appear back in court on July 18.

As it emerged that the 32-year-old Guinean immigrant will face him in the witness box and ‘tell the world’ what he did to her, the woman’s lawyers said the single mother was determined in her resolve for justice.

Kenneth Thompson said: ‘All of Dominique Strauss-Khan’s power, money and influence throughout the world will not change the truth of what he did to her in that hotel room.

‘She is going to come into this courthouse, sit down on the witness stand and tell the world what he did to her.’
