Oath Keepers along with the Patriot Guards, many students of Oregon State University and many others have been asked to help stand as honor guard to support the family of SPC Cody J. Patterson of Philomath, Oregon to have a proper funeral and to help in building a human shield to protect the family from the hate group known as the Westboro Baptist Church who is said to be there to protest the funeral.
The sister and aunt of SPC Cody J. Patterson are very pleased that we will be there, they are very thankful for the support.
SPC Cody J. Patterson, 24, of Philomath, Oregon, died Oct. 6, 2013 in Zhari district, Afghanistan of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
