Activists decry ‘racist’ economic policies, denounce capitalism

The Occupy movement’s Boston chapter recently held a protest event in conjunction with the Nation of Islam to oppose what they called the “racist” closing of a local post office.
Boston’s Occupy4Jobs Feb. 18 meeting was held in the Nation of Islam’s Muhammad’s Mosque No. 11 in Grove Hall, located in a predominantly African American neighborhood just a block away from the Grove Hall Post Office, which is slated for closing.
The event was co-organized by Nation of Islam Minister Don Muhammad, who is the leader of the Boston mosque.
According to a report in the communist Workers World magazine, Bob Traynham of the Occupy4Jobs Network led the crowd in the singing of the “Black National Anthem.”…
