Quote of the day

Restored Gertrude Jekyll border at Manor House, Upton Grey, Hampshire, England

21 June 2010

This morning marked the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere. It was a beautiful summer day in our garden and we remembered this quote, a thoughtful reminder to cherish each moment of beauty while it lasts.

“What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.”
Gertrude Jekyll

Enjoy your Summer. Be safe. Continue your quest for truth and your fight for America’s liberty. And thank you for being our guests.
