Taliban: Obama Must Pull Out 'Defeated' U.S. from Afghanistan

On the heels of Obama’s re-election, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said, “Obama must by now know that [the U.S.] has lost the war in Afghanistan” and should pull out U.S. troops accordingly.

According to Mujahid:

[The U.S. should] leave without further lying and delays, they should leave our sacred land and focus on their own country instead. The American administration should stop acting like police in the world and focus on solving their own peoples’ problems, and don’t make the world hate Americans even more.

As of right now, Obama plans to pull all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan by the end of 2014, but that apparently won’t be fast enough for Mujahid. He and the rest of the Taliban view the U.S. as a defeated enemy and want U.S. troops to leave immediately.
