Renee Ellmers (R-NC), took on Henry Waxman (D-CA) in spectacular fashion today in a joint House-Senate hearing on the payroll tax cut extension.

The Congressman urged participants to evaluate his legislation and to ask their representatives to co-sponsor the bill, H.R. 3551 ( Social Security Preservation through Individual Choice Enhancement Act: To amend the extension of the temporary employee payroll tax holiday to give individuals the choice of whether to participate.).
