…Department of Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler has not returned The Daily Caller’s requests for comment on Holder’s thoughts about how the lack of a federal voter ID law — Washington falls under federal voting law jurisdiction — could have led to Holder’s disenfranchisement by a white man.
Instead, an anonymous DOJ official went to left-leaning news website Talking Points Memo to respond to the story.
