She’s the face of strength and hope after the horror.

Missing her left leg and her beloved big brother, a plucky 7-year-old girl returned home for the first since a pair of terrorists set off two pressure cooker bombs at the Boston Marathon finish line, her family said today.

Jane Richard’s brother Martin was among three people killed when the twin bombs ripped through the thick crowd on Patriots’ Day in Massachusetts four months ago.

Ever since, amid the grief, and the pain and the bitter confusion, young Jane has learned to walk again the same way she is learning to move on — one step at a time…

…“Jane continues to be an incredible source of inspiration – and exhaustion. The loss of her leg has not slowed her one bit, or deterred her in any way…

…Jane’s mother, Denise, 43, suffered head injuries and lost sight in one eye. Her father, lost hearing from the blast and had several shrapnel wounds in his legs…
