“To me, we’re just getting to a ridiculous point in America,” said Newark Mayor and Democrat rising star Cory Booker. “Especially, I know, I live in a state where pension funds, unions and other people are investing in companies like Bain Capital. If you look at the totality of Bain Capital’s record — they’ve done a lot to support businesses, to grow businesses and this to me, I’m very uncomfortable.”

“Stop attacking private equity.”…

…Booker is a decent guy. Those interested in him ought to pick up the documentary “Street Fight” about his first campaign for Mayor of Newark, and his fight against a corrupt Democrat political machine in that city.
