Isn’t It Unconstitutional For Obama’s Stimulus Sequel To Be Introduced In The Senate?

On Tuesday of this week Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid introduced the President’s much-hyped stimulus sequel, officially known as the American Jobs Act of 2011.

Now, whether you’re for the bill or against it, isn’t it illegal for a bill like this to be introduced first in the Senate? There’s no doubt that the bill contains revenue measures including tax increases continuations of existing taxes, new tax credits, elimination of deductions, etc. And according to the Constitution, which members of Congress started off this session reading on the floor, those sort of bills are to originate in the House…
