Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell have reportedly reached an agreement on committee ratios and assignments are being finalized in advance of a vote on an organizing resolution Thursday.
Among the notable assignments trickling out: freshman Mike Lee (R., Utah) to Judiciary. This is going to be good. Lee’s a J.D. from Brigham Young and twice clerked for Samuel Alito, once on the Third Circuit and again on the Supreme Court. He also killed at the Federalist Society last year.
