The insufferable elitism of the Democrat ruling class is on full display just a month and change before the November midterm election. John Kerry just recently implied that voter stupidity is the reason for Democrats’ electoral problems:

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) told reporters Tuesday that he believes the American people are “conflicted” and “not sure” about which party would better move the country forward, with just over a month to go until the mid-term elections.
“(T)hey have a lot of angst and anxiousness and they want to make sure that whoever they elect is going to move them forward, and they’re not sure who that is,” Hoyer said at his weekly Capitol pen-and-pad briefing…
