Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was the keynote speaker at the Iowa Republican Party’s Lincoln Dinner at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids. In his remarks on the investigation into the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, he criticized how then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton performed her duties. He also focused on the need for comprehensive immigration reform. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Representative Steve King (R-IA) also delivered remarks which focused on their opposition to immigration reform.
