Sharia (Islamic law) is a brutally misogynistic ordinance that categorizes all women as subhuman. It is an evil decree (that if violated) carries a host of penalties ranging from multiple whippings to genital mutilation to gang rape to stoning.
Women in the Ummah (Global Islamic Community) have been subjected to this archaically medieval law since the 7th century. Their plight is one of highly disturbing and egregious proportions.
Yet, American feminists have been chillingly silent about this most poignant issue. …The Quran’s description of women as inferior to and the property of men not only removes womens’ basic human rights; it also influence men’s view of them. As a result, Muslim cultural traditions have for centuries treated women as second class citizens, forced to marry and have sex with men against their will, and living under a constant death threat should they dishonor their family by violating the misanthropic Sharia laws.
The brutal treatment of innocent young girls may be shocking to those who do not know how women are treated in Muslim countries, but it would be naive to think that people change their habits and views and raise their children to integrate into what in their eyes are blasphemous customs just because they cross a national border…

Houses and mosques were set ablaze by mobs in a town in eastern Myanmar after a Buddhist woman was allegedly “torched” by a Muslim man, authorities said Tuesday, in a fresh bout of religious violence.
An ethnic Shan-Muslim man was arrested after he “torched” a woman selling petrol, a police officer in the Shan State capital of Lashio told AFP under the condition of anonymity.
A town official confirmed the arrest of the Muslim man who he said had “torched a woman with petrol”…
