The New York Daily News reports this morning that Elizabeth Taylor “died Wednesday”. The paper noted, “Her death marks the passing of perhaps the last great star from the old studio system – a devastating beauty whose personal dramas were as captivating as her performances in ‘Cleopatra’ and ‘A Place in the Sun’.”
