When Missouri state Sen. Jamilah Nasheed headed to Ferguson for a recent protest, she brought with her a legacy of supporting strict gun control legislation. As it turns out, though, she also brought along her own firearm, which has led some to characterize her as a hypocrite regarding the contentious issue.
So Nasheed proposes to get tough on gun crime, then gets arrested with a gun after drinking. #irony

KMOV reports Nasheed was walking in the road and blocking traffic when police detained her and recognized that she “smelled strongly of intoxicants.”
She refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test, and police arrested her on charges of failure to obey a police order and walking in the roadway…
