Fox Business Network anchor Melissa Francis dropped a bombshell on her show Friday, revealing that when she worked at CNBC, she was silenced by management for questioning the math behind ObamaCare on television.
In the shocking clip (below) that has picked up major traction on social media, Francis explains that she is not surprised by the lack of media coverage of “Grubergate” because many liberal media outlets are all too happy to help the architects of ObamaCare cover up the truth…
…”Look, this is math, not politics. I’m talking about dollars and cents. We’re a money channel,” Francis said. “And I was told I was ‘disrespecting the office of the president.'”
She added that she was called in more than once, and on another occasion, she was told she was too political.
When she noted CNBC anchors who were political, such as Larry Kudlow and Joe Kernen, the response was that they were specific people in specific roles and everybody knows that they’re out there representing a certain point of view.
Why protect the executives involved and not name names? Kurtz asked.
“It was pervasive across the network, and there was more than one person who told me to stop” Francis explained…
…”The American public needs to facts and then if we decide we still want to pay more for insurance so that other people can be covered, fine! But they need the accurate mathematical facts to make a decision.”
