In January 2009, before the president signed his failed $787 billion stimulus bill into law, Barack Obama lectured America saying,
“Everyone must sacrifice for the greater good… Everyone must have some skin in the game.”
Everyone but Barack and Michelle Obama.
Michelle Obama is enjoying a quick trip to Vail for Presidents Day weekend with a motorcade of a dozen vehicles.
The Vail Daily reported:
First lady Michelle Obama is among the Presidents Day weekend crowd.
Obama arrived Friday night for a weekend of skiing in Vail and Beaver Creek, according to local sources…

At CAJ we hadn’t realized the First Lady is a skier, and perhaps her daughters are. The Vail Daily reports that the FLOTUS will be lodging at the Sebastian Hotel, “…Vail’s newest boutique slopeside hotel…is stylish…Rich amenities set the state…Hip. Warm. Social…As a Village, no other in America is so full of shopping, art galleries, restaurants and free of cars…”
The Beaver Creek Ski Resort’s webpage boasts, “Not exactly roughing it.” We can believe that.
