THE DEFENSE RESTS in the Trayvon Martin case…placing a heavy chunk of cement on the floor of the courtroom and telling the jury that Trayvon Martin was not a teenager with nothing but SKITTLES in his pocket. He was a 17-year old, grown man, taller than the defendant, who used his fists and the cement as weapons to overpower George Zimmerman. Also stopped the courtroom with FOUR MINUTES of silence. The amount of time between the last words Martin spoke to his friend on his cellphone, and the start of physical battle. Asking the jury…WHAT WAS HAPPENING? Effective in presenting more questionable doubt in this difficult case.
